4 Union Ministers have been given further portfolios

New Delhi:

President Droupadi Murmu has accepted the resignations of Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Singh Patel and Renuka Singh Saruta from the Union Council of Ministers. That they had resigned following their victory within the current meeting elections.

Union Minister Arjun Munda has been assigned Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Ministry, along with his present portfolio.

Minister of State Shobha Karandlaje has been given cost of Minister of State in Meals Processing Industries, along with her present portfolio.

Union Rajeev Chandrasekhar will work as Minister of State in Jal Shakti, along with his different portfolios.

Union Minister Bharti Pravin Pawar has been given further cost of Minister of State in Tribal Affairs.

Union Ministers Tomar, Patel and Saruta resigned because the BJP had determined that each one of its 12 MPs lately elected to state assemblies will give up parliament, amid robust indications that they could be part of the brand new governments in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.

Saruta, a Lok Sabha MP from Chhattisgarh, had lately contested state meeting elections and received the Bharatpur-Sonhat seat.

Different MPs who give up are Rakesh Singh, Udya Pratap Singh and Riti Pathak from Madhya Pradesh; Kirodi Lal Meena, Diya Kumari and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore from Rajasthan and Gomati Sai and Arun Sao from Chhattisgarh.

All besides Meena are Lok Sabha members. Meena is a Rajya Sabha member.
