Ukraine and Russia introduced their first change of prisoners of warfare in almost 4 months on Friday, with 150 individuals freed after negotiations mediated by the United Arab Emirates.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated 75 Ukrainian prisoners had been returned from Russia. They included 4 civilians whereas the remaining have been members of the navy.

Russia’s Defence Ministry stated Ukraine handed over 75 individuals in a deal brokered by the UAE, RIA information company reported.
