Rome:

An Indian farm labourer working in Italy died Wednesday after being left by the street following an accident that severed his arm, a minister stated, condemning an “act of barbarity”.

Satnam Singh was injured on Monday whereas engaged on a farm in Latina, a rural space south of Rome that’s residence to tens of 1000’s of Indian migrant employees. 

“The Indian agricultural employee who suffered a severe accident within the countryside of Latina and was deserted in very severe situations… has died,” Labour Minister Marina Calderone advised parliament.

“It was a real act of barbarity,” she stated, including that authorities have been investigating, and expressing hope that those that have been accountable can be punished.

Singh, who was 30 or 31 and dealing with out authorized papers, was reducing hay when his arm was sliced off by a machine, in response to the Flai CGIL commerce union.
