Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams, set to take a spacecraft out of Earth a 3rd time tomorrow, carries the Bhagwad Gita to house.

Talking to NDTV, Ms Williams stated she is extra religious than spiritual. When she lifts off from the Kennedy Area Centre tomorrow a little bit after 8 am India time in a brand-new spacecraft – Boeing Starliner, she is going to take her “fortunate allure” – an idol of Lord Ganesh.

She stated she would carry a statue of Lord Ganesh together with her on the industrial crew flight as “Ganesh is her good luck allure” and that she was comfortable to have Lord Ganesh together with her in outer house. On her earlier journeys to house, she carried the Bhagavad Gita.

Amongst her different passions, Ms Williams is a marathon runner and has run a marathon whereas she was on the Worldwide Area Station.

Is she nervous earlier than her third flight? She stated that though she is a bit anxious, she has no jitters about flying in a brand new spacecraft. “Once I attain the Worldwide Area Station, will probably be like returning residence,” she stated.
