Senior Congress chief Shashi Tharoor on Sunday took a swipe at JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar over his newest volte-face after he walked out of the Mahagathbandhan authorities in Bihar, dubbing him as a “snollygoster” or a shrewd and unprincipled politician.
He shared his social media submit from 2017 when Mr Kumar had damaged away from the Mahagathbandhan or the grand alliance in Bihar with the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress and returned to the BJP regardless of being foes for a very long time.

The prolific creator and man of many letters, identified for throwing in obscure English phrases into social media lexicon, has used snollygoster earlier as nicely.
In 2017, he had tweeted the phrase in an obvious reference to Kumar switching sides to the BJP.
