The Supreme Court docket on Friday refused to postpone the Nationwide Eligibility-cum-Entrance Check – Grasp of Dental Surgical procedure (NEET MDS 2024), which is scheduled for March 18, 2024, in line with Hindustan Instances. A bench headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud declined to defer the examination noting that the petition, filed by dentists, was moved on the final minute.

The petitioners had initially requested for extending the March 31, 2024 deadline for the completion of internship for changing into eligible for NEET-MDS.

Following this determination, the registrations for the examination was opened for 3 days from March September 11. Round 568 candidates registered and have become eligible to look for the examination.

Earlier, the Federation of Resident Medical doctors Affiliation (FORDA) had written a letter to the Union Well being Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya for rescheduling the NEET MDS -2024 examination.
