New Delhi:

Not less than 25 individuals have been injured when a short lived construction close to Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium collapsed immediately.

The construction had been put up for a marriage close to gate quantity 2 of the JLN stadium, officers stated.

Police stated the injured have been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Safdurjung Hospital for the therapy.

No casualties have been reported within the incident to date.
   
“It was discovered that 25-30 labourers have been trapped below the fallen construction. The pandal was erected for a marriage operate. 25-30 individuals rescued and shifted to AIIMS Trauma Centre and Safdarjung Hospital,” stated Ankit Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Delhi.

Rescue operations have been carried on by the Delhi Police and hearth division officers.
