Lok Sabha Election Section 5: 49 constituencies are voting immediately.

Voters in 49 constituencies throughout 6 states and a couple of Union Territories will determine the fates of many key leaders immediately — Union Ministers and get together chiefs. Amongst these in fray are Smriti Irani, Rahul Gandhi, Chirag Paswan and Omar Abdullah.

Listed here are the High 10 Factors on Lok Sabha Election Section 5 Voting:

  1. Voting in 5 seats in Bihar, Jharkhand (3), Maharashtra (13), Odisha (5), UP (14), West Bengal (7) and two Union Territories – Jammu and Kashmir (1) and Ladakh (1) was held immediately. With this part, the Lok Sabha elections will likely be over in Maharashtra and Ladakh. A provisional turnout of 57.5 per cent has been recorded.  

  2. Voting was held on 35 seats of the Odisha Meeting and 21 Lok Sabha seats as a part of the simultaneous polling within the state.

  3. Whereas this part has the least variety of seats, most are high-profile constituencies from the place Union Ministers and leaders of nationwide and regional events are contesting. In 2019, the BJP received 32 of those 49 seats.

  4. The massive battle is predicted within the seven seats of Bengal and the 13 seats of Maharashtra. Ten of the 13 seats are within the Shiv Sena stronghold and the conflict will likely be between two factions of the get together, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his predecessor Uddhav Thackeray.

  5. In Bengal, a tricky battle is on the playing cards on a number of seats, with Congress and CPM muscling into what was anticipated to be a straight battle between the BJP and the ruling Trinamool Congress.

  9. In Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla, former Chief Minister and Nationwide Convention chief Omar Abdullah faces the PDP’s Faiyaz A Mir, Folks’s Convention chief Sajad Ghani Lone, and Awami Ittehad Social gathering chief, the jailed Engineer Rashid.

  10. The following and penultimate part, comprising 58 seats, will likely be held on Could 25. Nationwide capital Delhi and neighbouring Haryana will take part for a single-phase polling. The counting of votes will likely be held on June 4.
