A minimum of 16 flights have been diverted from Delhi to Jaipur, Lucknow, Amritsar, and Ahmedabad after operations on the capital’s airport have been impacted due to heavy rain and lightning, an official of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Worldwide Airport stated.
Of the 16 flights diverted, 10 have been rerouted to Jaipur, three to Lucknow, two to Amritsar, and one to Ahmedabad.
A Vistara flight from Guwahati to Delhi, UK742, was diverted to Jaipur attributable to dangerous climate and air site visitors congestion on the Indira Gandhi Worldwide airport, information company ANI reported.
