Kathmandu:
Six Indian vacationers, largely senior residents, have been injured when the jeep they have been travelling in overturned close to a lake in Nepal’s Chitwan district on Sunday, officers stated.
The accident passed off close to Darai Lake at Khaireni. The vacationers have been heading in direction of Chitwan Nationwide Park for a jungle safari, stated Kedarnath Panta, chairperson of ward quantity 12, Khaireni municipality.
Chitwan Nationwide Park, 250 km south of Kathmandu, is legendary for one-horned Rhinos and Bengal Tigers.
All those that sustained accidents hail from the Bendali Thana space in Mumbai and most of them are above 60 years of age, police stated. They’re recognized as Ramchandra Yadav, Sudesh Shanker Khadia, Pankaj Gupteshwor, Vaishali Gupteshwor, Sushmita Sudesh Khadia and Vijaya Extra.
The injured are present process therapy at hospitals in Bharatpur and Ratnanagar, police stated, including that they’ve taken the jeep driver, a Nepalese, into their custody.
