A teenager died from stab wounds in a street fight in south-west London, identified as Simarjeet Singh Nangpal, a British Sikh, by the Metropolitan Police on Friday.
The Met Police reported the arrest of four men, aged 21, 27, 31, and 71, on suspicion of the murder, which occurred in the Hounslow area of London in the early hours of Wednesday.
Detectives are working to piece together the events leading up to the tragic death of 17-year-old Simarjeet, stating their determination to bring those responsible to justice and urging the community for any information or footage related to the incident.
Police responded to a fight in progress at Burket Close, Hounslow, where Nangpal was found with stab injuries and pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts by emergency services. The victim’s family is being provided with specialist support. The authorities assured the community of their commitment to finding those responsible and increased police presence in the area.
