Sydney:

Quite a lot of folks have been injured in a stabbing at a church in Walkley, about 30 km (18 miles) west of the Sydney central enterprise district, police authorities mentioned on Monday.

Officers arrested a male and he’s helping police with inquiries, a police assertion mentioned.

The injured folks suffered non-life-threatening accidents and are being handled by paramedics, police mentioned.

Native media reported {that a} church chief and a number of other worshippers have been stabbed throughout a service on the church. Movies of the incident circulating on-line confirmed a person lunging and stabbing a speaker.

It is the second stabbing incident in Sydney after six folks have been killed in a knife assault at a mall in Sydney’s Bondi space on Saturday.
